A total of 15 ships are expected to berth at Onne Port, Onne, Rivers State between September 20 and 27, 2019.
Some of the vessels would discharge general cargo, containers and Automotive Gas Oil (AGO) in the port while the rest will lift Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG), bulk urea, Natural Gas Oil (NGO) and condensate to other parts of the world.
According to NPA data, five vessels – LNG Bayelsa, LNG Abuja II, LNG Rivers Niger, LNG Benue and LNG Lokoja – will lift 343,000 tonnes of LNG at Jetty 1 and 2 out of the port to other parts of the world. The following shipping agents – Fountain and Intership – will provide logistic services for the vessels.
MT Evinos will lift 30,000 tonnes of condensate out of the port as Intership Agency would provide shipping services for it at Jetty 2.
At Indorama in the port, MV Boreas will ship 5400 tonnes of bulk urea and 31000 tonnes of NGO will be shipped out by MT STI Bosphorus. Both VICVEN and WAPS will provide shipping services for the two vessels.
Under imports, six ships are currently discharging general cargo, containers and AGO. MV HC Nadja Maria laden with 286480 ton of general cargo is discharging at Federal Operation Terminal as MV Maersk Cardiff, MV Maersk Cotonuo, MV Kota Satria and MV Konrad Schulte are also discharging 19000, 20000, 20241.7 and 6000 tonnes of containers at the following berths – WACT 7 and WACT 8. Their shipping agencies are Hublyth, Maersk, PIL and C.C Nig.
MT Rose Mary is discharging 5000 ton of AGO cargo at FOT Tanker berth. Its shipping agency is Bluesea.
