General Manager, Duncan Bonded Terminal, Lagos, Mr. Haruna Olusesan Omolajomo will in the month of May 2018 become a recipient of two Islamic honours.
The first honour which is the Asiwaju Adini will be bestowed on him on May 6, 2018 by Darul-Hudah Wal-Ishad, Nigeria, at Agiliti Mile 12, Lagos State. While on May 12, 2018 Omolajomo will again be conferred with the title of Aare Adinni by Jamaatul Muhibullahi Prayer Group of Nigeria. This honour will be complemented with an award.
The conferment of the two religious honours on Omolajomo is in recognition of his contributions and an unwavering commitment to the growth and propagation of Islam in Agiliti, Lagos State and Nigeria as a whole.
Speaking to PortNews on the honours, Omolajomo, who is also the Executive Secretary, Association of Bonded Terminal Operators of Nigeria, said he felt elated to be recognised and honoured by the two religious bodies. He noted that the honours will spur him to do more for the growth of Islam, the two bodies and Nigeria as a nation.
‘I feel elated to be honoured by the two Islamic bodies. The honours, I can assure you, will spur me to do more for the growth of Islam, development of Nigeria and continue my support for the two bodies,’ he said.
Omolajomo hails from Owo in Ondo State and belongs to many social clubs and religious organisations both in Owo and Lagos. He has won several laurels. He is happily married.
