The Western Zone of the Association of Nigeria Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA) has finally returned home more than a year after it parted ways with its national body, ANLCA, over the disputed 2018 ANLCA Board of Trustee election that produced two chairmen,.
Welcoming the Zone led by its Chairman, Comrade John Ofobike into his office at the national secretariat in Lagos, President Iju Tony Nwabunike expressed joy seeing the Zone returning home.
Nwabunije however promised that he would not allow any break in the ranks of ANLCA again and ensure that ANLCA recovers the rounds it has lost as quickly as possible.
Speaking, the Chairman of the Zone, Comrade John Ofobike reassured the President and his executive of the support of the zone, telling the president that the return of peace was for real.
Peace, in the last one year, has eluded ANLCA because of misunderstanding over the outcome of the 2018 ANLCA Board of Trustee election where two chairmen emerged. This however drew bad blood and caused fractionalization of the association and suspension of some members.
This is really a long awaiting settlement we have been praying for, we the light at the end of the tunnel coming to play, all hands should be on deck because ANLCA happen to be the only solution to Custom Related issues across the nation and the continent.
Welcoming all members both at National and Chapter to throw in the cotton of peace and mend all wounds so as to allow the transformation to take is process little by little.
