As part of activities marking his one year in office, Prince Segun Oduntan, Chairman Tincan Island port chapter of the Association of Nigeria Licensed Agents (ANLCA) has reviewed and reshuffled his administrative set-up and it was done with aplomb.

At a well attended general meeting held at Tincan Port ANLCA Secretariant on Thursday 7th September 2017, in the presence of Board of Trustees member and Tincan ANLCA Juggernaut, Prince Taye Oyeniyi, Alhaji Lala, the Chairman of the Taskforce was redeployed as Special Adviser to the Chairman on Special Duties, a post akin to a Chief of Staff. In his stead comes, Otunba Waidi Sadiku as the new Task Force Chairman.

According to Alhaji Akanni Balogun, an elder of the association and a very close associate of Prince Oduntan, the changes are comprehensive with a view to reinvigorating the machinery of governance for optimal performance. “If you look at Alhaji Lala, he now occupies an even more strategic post as the SA on Special Duty. Only experienced persons can be appointed into such a position. The new Taskforce Chairman, Otunba Waidi Sadiku is a dedicated officer of high integrity, a leader in his own right. The other new appointees are all equal to the task, ” explained Elder Balogun. “Of course we dropped some people who we felt were not up to the task,” he added .

Reminiscing on the last one year since Prince Oduntan assumed office as Tincan ANLCA Chairman, Alhaji Balogun noted that there has been absolute peace and a friendly work ambience at Tincan Island port in Lagos. “Prince Oduntan is a leader who works with the collective, selfless but thorough. Agents at Tincan are now respected by all stakeholders consequent upon many engagements with the customs and other stakeholders by Tincan ANLCA leadership”.
