The Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA) on Wednesday August 15, 2018 began training its members on the Nigerian Integrated Customs Information System (NICIS Version 2) at its national Secretariat in Lagos.

This was contained in a press statement issued by Mr. Joe Sanni, National Publicity Secretary of the association in Lagos.

He noted that the training session was kicked-off by the President of ANLCA, Iju Tony Nwabunike, who pleaded with his members to take maximum advantage of the training to improve on their capacity to deliver optimally on their jobs.

The training consultant, Mr. Adeniyi, according to Sanni, took members through the processes of obtaining username and password for current Customs licenses, to enable interfacing with NICIS 2.

He added that the consultant took the participants through every step of data capturing to printing out an Assessment Notice and managing documentary discrepancies.

The consultant advised the participants who operate their Customs licenses with the Username and password on customs trade website to always ensure daily monitoring of activities on their licenses to enhance the security of their licenses.
