British Airways flash sale from London Gatwick

British Airways has announced a flash sale on flights to and from London Gatwick, with over 200,000 seats available for £30 or less.

The heavily-discounted seats, based on return fares, are available across nearly 20 destinations including Nice and Verona where fares start from just £24 each-way. Customers must book by Tuesday, November 5.

Other routes available for £30 or less include classic city-break destinations such as Venice and Amsterdam, as well as Geneva and Turin which are gateway airports to the Alps. European favourites such as Cologne, Faro and Dubrovnik are also included in the deals as are domestic routes between Glasgow, Edinburgh and Jersey.

Adam Carson, British Airways’ Managing Director of London Gatwick, said: “These fares are an absolute steal for customers looking to escape for the winter. For those who want to soak up a European city, take a skiing trip to the Alps, or even stay closer to home in Scotland or Jersey, there is something for everyone. These great deals at London Gatwick won’t be around for long so book quickly.”

The seats are available for travel on select dates until March 29, 2020.

As always, members of the British Airways Executive Club can earn Avios and Tier Points on their bookings. The Executive Club is free to join and Avios can be spent on Reward flights, upgrades, hotels, car rental and being used for part payment, allowing customers to cut the cost of future flights. When using Avios part payment, customers can pick from a range of savings by destination and cabin. In doing so, Members can still collect Avios and Tier Points on their bookings.

British Airways flies to more than 70 destinations from Gatwick, offering a variety of routes to suit both business and leisure travellers. Last month, it announced the addition of holiday hotspot Antalya, Turkey.

These sale prices have in turns meant big reductions to the cost of British Airways Holidays from Gatwick.

As part of its £6.5 billion customer investment, the airline has refreshed its Boeing 777 fleet at Gatwick with new generation economy (World Traveller) and premium economy (World Traveller Plus) seats. These seats have all new Panasonic inflight entertainment 10” screens in World Traveller and 12” screens in World Traveller Plus, offering four times more choice, including movies, television and audio programmes. British Airways’ investment also includes new aircraft, new cabins, new catering, new lounges and WiFi.
