FAAN urges air passengers to abide by COVID-19 protocols during Eid-el-Fitri

Air passengers and airport users have been advised by the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) to abide by all laid down protocols on Covid-19 while using the airports as Nigeria joins the rest of the world to celebrate Eid-el-Fitri.

According to a statement, FAAN  assured the passengers and other airport users that it has put adequate measures in place to guarantee their safety and security during and after the celebration, noting that recent developments in some parts of the world with respect to the Covid-19 pandemic requires that all hands must be on deck.

“As the world prepares for the celebration of Eid-el-Fitri, which marks the end of the Ramadan fasting, the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) wishes to advise passengers and airport users to abide by all laid down protocols on Covid-19 while using the airports.

“Additionally, FAAN advises passengers to leave their homes early enough, so as to get to the airports and complete all check-in formalities in good time to avoid missing their flights,” said FAAN.
