MARAN holds talk-shop on sustainable logistics for Nigerian ports

The Maritime Reporters Association of Nigeria (MARAN) will on Tuesday 27, 2018 hold a one day talk shop on  the development of a sustainable logistics for effective port system and administration in Nigeria.

According to MARAN Secretary General, Bayo Bernard, the talk shop with the theme; “The Prospects and Challenges of Logistics Services as the Life-Wire of Nigerian Maritime Sector” is to create “a viable platform for vibrant discourse by industry stakeholders and other interested parties on the subject”

He said that event would have perspectives from terminal operators, logistics providers, regulatory agencies, freight forwarders and customs brokerage.

He said that the Managing Director of Nigerian Ports Authority, Hadiza Bala Usman and the Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Shippers Council, Barr. Hassan Bello are on the panel of discussion.

The venue of the event at the International Maritime Press Centre/MARAN Secretariat, 23/27, Wharf Road, Atlantic House – 1st Floor, Apapa, Lagos,
