NEPC advised to create one-stop shop to boost export

Nigerian Export Promotion Council (NEPC) has been advised to work towards establishing veritable, functional and dynamic databases of exporters profiling their areas of specializations for proper funding, monitoring and encouragement.

NEPC was advised by participants at a three-day training programme organized by NEPC in collaboration with the Deputy British High Commission in Nigeria for Small and Medium Enterprise (SMEs) involved in non-oil exports from Nigeria to the United Kingdom in Apapa, Last week.

The participants also called on the management of NEPC to collapse all functions of exports regulatory agencies into a one-stop-shop centre to encourage the SMEs/exporters to play by the rules, rather than adopting practices that will not benefit them or the Government of Nigeria.

Nigerian Export Promotion Council promised to expand export capacity building programme in future.
