China, NPA pledge commitment to quick completion of Lekki port

The Managing Director of Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) Hadiza Bala Usman has confirmed the commitment of the organisation in providing the necessary support needed to complete the Lekki deep seaport.

Usman told the team of China Development Bank who paid a courtesy visit to her in Lagos, according news posted on the official tweet account of NPA.

She said that the Nigerian govt under President Muhammadu Buhari is keen to actualising the seaport.

The General Manager of the bank, Zhang Yifan said the bank has also made major investments in Africa and Nigeria considering that Africa is a key area for investments

The bank officials had visited the Lekki port site and confirmed that the project will meet international standards.
