NPA redeploys port managers

Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) has redeployed some Port Managers and appointed a new Technical Assistant (Administration) to the Office of the Managing Director.

The affected port managers were Mrs. Aisha Ali Ibrahim, former Port Manager of Lagos Port Complex (LPC) was moved to the headquarters as Asst. General Manager Operations; Mrs. Olotu Bolanle Funmilayo, Port Manager of Calabar Port, took over as Port Manager of LPC and Umar Abubakar Garba is the new Port Manager TCIP, he was Port Manager at the Rivers Port Complex.

Mr. Simon Okeke remained his position as Port Manager, Delta Ports while Mrs. Asien Marie Ehemeiri replaced Mrs. Olotu as the new Port Manager for Calabar Port. Engr. Akporherhe Emmanuel moved to headquarters as Principal Manager Safety as Alhassan Ismaila Abubakar retained his position as Port Manager Onne Port. Engr Yunusa Ibrahim Anji Principal Manager Environment was moved to Rivers Port as the new Port Manager.

Mr. Isah Idris Danazumi is now the new Technical Assistant (Administration) to the Managing Director. He took over from Musa Shehu Yaro who now moved to Procurement Division as Assistant General Manager.

The Managing Director, Hadiza Bala Usman enjoined the new appointees to rise up to any challenge in their respective roles as their new positing were in a bid to reposition the nation’s seaports for improved service delivery.
