Old Girls Association of Girls High School, Enugu, Enugu State (1984 set), are billed to be converging in Port Harcourt, Capital of Rivers State from July 5th – July 7th 2019 to discuss state of the state of their alma mater and the nation.
The development was contained in a statement issued from the office of the Logistics Coordinator, Rivers State Chapter, Mrs. B. Ejemeh Nchey-Achukwu.
Mrs. B. Ejemeh Nchey-Achukwu said members for the meeting are drawn from across Nigeria and from the International community.
According to her, ‘’the meeting in Port Harcourt is for interaction, and an opportunity to reflect on issues of “State of the Nation” and on how to contribute to the development of their alma mater. The Old Girls Association is positively disposed to contributing to the society via Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) policy.’’
The event will be Chaired by the National Chairman, Mrs. Angela Mbah, while the Local Organizing Committee Chairman, Rivers State Chapter, Mrs. Chinyere Okey-Odu will be the host. Mrs. B. Ejemeh Nchey-Achukwu will among other persons be responsible for the logistics co-ordination of the event.
