Prince Segun Oduntan, the Managing Director of Settle Systems Nigeria Limited, has been decorated as a Patron of the Port Authority Western Command of Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC).
According to Mr. George Udoh, the National Chairman of NPA Western Command of PCRC, as a Patron, Prince Oduntan henceforth becomes a leader who takes as a priority the security and wellbeing of his immediate society especially the Apapa maritime domain.
‘’You have always been a leader and a man of the people, but with this honour as a Patron of our respected body, the PCRC, you are now to pay much attention to the peace, safety and security of Apapa community and Nigeria as a whole. We made you a Patron because you are equal to the task as a very selfless person. I congratulate you, Sir,’’ noted Udoh.
In his response, Prince Oduntan thanked the Chairman and the PCRC for the honour and pledged his full support to the cause and mission of the PCRC while noting that he had always been supportive of Police efforts.
‘’I will give my modest support to the PCRC in Apapa as I have always done with the Police elsewhere. Personally and very frankly, I salute the Nigeria Police for their invaluable contribution to restoring and maintaining peace and security in Apapa in recent years; a few year ago crime rate in Apapa was out of control. I salute the Police and the PCRC and I promise to join hands with all the well-meaning members and leaders of the body to achieve our goal which is peace and stability in Apapa and the nation as a whole,’’ Oduntan submitted.
