WACT to experience halt in operations on Tuesday – APM Terminals

APM Terminals says yard operation activities in its terminal – West Africa Container Terminal (WACT) – in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, will be halted for 12 hours from 8:00pm on Tuesday, 28th June to Wednesday 29th, June 2022.

In a statement by APM Terminals, also, WACT Termview and Book Exam platforms will be unavailable this period as all its customers will not perform online transactions during this 12-hour period.

APM Terminals said “In our drive to continuously improve our services, kindly be informed that there is a planned upgrade of our Terminal Operating System for 12 hours – from 8:00pm on Tuesday, 28th June to 8:00am on Wednesday 29th June 2022.

“During this period, our yard operations activities will be halted. Also, WACT Termview and Book Exam platforms will be unavailable; hence, customers will not perform online transactions during this 12-hour period.”

While apologizing to its customers, APM Terminals said “Kindly accept our apologies for any inconvenience this downtime might cause. We count on your continuous support and understanding, and we shall update you once the maintenance is complete.”

It urged its customers to reach out WACT Customer Service Team on its official phone numbers and emails available on its website.
