Kunio Mikuriya, WCO Secretary-General

The World Customs Organiation (WCO) has announced that it has updated the Customs Laboratory Guide (CLG) to reflect the HS 2022 edition.

The WCO noted that the Central Customs Laboratory in Japan contributed to the updating of the CLG.

According to the WCO, the CLG is a practical handbook for the use of members in the establishment and ongoing development of Customs laboratories and as a source of information for Customs chemists.

Thanking the Central Customs Laboratory in Japan, the WCO said that the updated CLG is available, in English and French, on the WCO Members Web site.
