Azman Air says is set to resume flight operations soon as it announced that the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority has lifted its suspension.
The airline announced on its verified Twitter handle on Saturday that the suspension has been lifted and expected to commence flight next week.
It would be recalled the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) suspended the operations of all the Boeing 737 aircraft in the fleet of Azman Air Services Limited over safety-related issues with effect from March 15, 2021.
NCAA noted that the suspension was pursuant to Section 35 (2) of the Civil Aviation Act, 2006 and Part 220.127.116.11 (A) of the Nigeria Civil Aviation Regulations (Nig.CARs) 2015.
It said the suspension was to enable the authority to conduct an audit of the airline to determine the root cause(s) of the incidents and recommend corrective actions to forestall recurrence.
