Calabar Port, HullBlyth, Allison, Peejay expect five vessels

Shipping at Calabar Port will peak up from Wednesday May 20 to Tuesday June 30, 2020 as five ships – MV Sea Grace, MV Arcadia, MV Draftdodger, MT Amif and MV MCP Adamas – are expected to berth.

Bulk wheat tops the list of other cargoes – container, Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) – that will be shipped into the port during this period.

This development was contained in a shipping position released by the Nigerian Ports Authority on Monday May 18, 2020, in Lagos.  

The management of ECM Terminals, according to the shipping position, will have their hands full during the period as three ships – MV Acadia with 16,370 metric tonnes of bulk wheat, MV Draftdodger laden with 16,300 metric tonnes of bulk wheat and MV MCP Adamas laden with containers – will berth in the terminal.

Hullblyth Shipping and Allison Shipping will provide logistic services for MV MCP Adamas, MV Acadia and MV Draftdodger respectively.

16,000 metric tonnes of PMS to be shipped into the port by MT Amif and will berth at Dozzy terminal. Peejay Shipping will provide logistics services for the vessel when it arrives.

The last ship, MV Sea Grace is imballast.
