The Nigeria Customs Service has disclosed that all private aircraft in operations in the country that were improperly imported will undergo verification.
In a notice released on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, the Service said the verification exercise is aimed at identifying improperly imported private without documentation, ensuring proper imports and maximum revenue collection.
The exercise, according to the notice, will commence on June 19 and end on July 19, 2024 and take place at the Customs headquarters in Abuja.
The Service directed all interested parties to come with Aircraft Certificate of Registration, NCAA’s Flight Operations Certificate, NCAA’s Maintenance Compliance Certificate, NCAA’s Permit for Non-commercial Flight and Temporary Import Permit to the Tariff and Trade Department.
