The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has appealed to airlines and passengers to exercise patience and understanding following a temporary malfunctioning of the check-in system of Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA), Lagos.

Mrs. Henrietta Yakubu, General Manager, Corporate Affairs of FAAN, made this known to PortNews in Lagos this afternoon.

Yakubu noted that FAAN has already mobilized necessary resources to address the challenge and restore normalcy in passenger facilitation.

β€œTo avoid flight delays, the authority will like to advise passengers to leave their homes early, so as to complete all check-in formalities in good time,” she said.
