The acting Director General of Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) Capt. Abdullahi Sidi has promised staff that their welfare will be given give more priority in the year by implementing consequential adjustment arising from minimum wages increase and provide other incentives that will enhance staff productivity.
Captain Sidi who represented by Alhaji Abdullahi Adamu, Director of Consumer Protection (DCP) made the promise in his New Year’s message to the staff at a recent New Year Prayer of the organization held at the corporate head office of NCAA in Ikeja Lagos.
Speaking at the prayer session on behalf of the four NCAA labour unions, Comrade Sofolahan Ayodele, Chairman of Joint Action Congress, thanked the workers for their steadfastness and trust which resulted in some feats.
Sofolahan urged management to provide needed boost towards ensuring much-awaited staff Condition of Service (CoS) see the light of the day by first quarter of year 2020. Other issues enumerated are staff relocation to Abuja, staff Scheme of Service and upwards review of allowances.
The workers in the course of the programme offered a moment of silence/prayers for the repose souls of the departed colleagues, including their loved ones left behind.
