Nigerian ports expect more vessels

Port operators – terminals, shipping agents and others – in Nigerian ports are busy now as more ships are arriving in the ports in Lagos, Warri and Calabar as indicated by shipping positions released by the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA).

At Warri Port, 11 ships laden with petroleum products and general cargo are expected to arrive between June 11 and June 20, 2020. Four vessels are at anchorage waiting to berth in the port.

While in the Lagos Pilotage District, a total of 19 ships have already dropped their anchors at the anchorage while for signal for them to move into ENL, TICT, APMT and Eko Support to berth.  

Eight ships are also being expected to come into various ports in the district between 9 June and 20 June, 2020.

In Calabar Port, five ships are expected to arrive between June 12 and June 30, 2020. Three of the ships laden with bulk wheat and PMS will berth at ECM Terminals while one with PMS will go to DOZZY Terminals. The last one is imballast and is scheduled for Shoreline. Six ships are presently discharging their cargoes in the port.
