The Acting Managing Director of Nigerian Ports Authority, Mohammed Bello-Koko, today, held a meeting with terminal operators in Lagos.

The terminal operators were led by the Chairperson of Seaport Terminal Operators Association of Nigeria (STOAN), Princess Vicky Haastrup, who is also the Executive Vice Chairman of ENL Consortium, into the meeting.

The outcome of the meeting is yet to be made public at the time of filing this report.

But the information available to PortNews revealed that the meeting extensively dwelled on the renewal of the concession agreements which the terminal operators signed with the Federal Government of Nigeria.

In spite of the inspiring performance of terminal operators, they have found it herculean to get their contracts renewed by the federal government. In the past year, the terminal operators have been reporting to NPA headquarters like schoolboys going to write examinations.
