The death has been announced of Princess Oseyemi Rachel Adelusimi. She is the wife of retired Superintendent of Customs Idowu Enoch Adelusimi and elder sister to Mr. Wale Oni, Publisher/Editor in Chief of PortNews newspaper/online. She died on Monday, February 15, 2021, at age of 64 after a brief illness.
Late Princess Oseyemi Rachel Adelusimi was a devout Christian who retired from the civil service of Ondo State in 2015 after 35 years. She is survived by her husband, children, and cousins.
According to the family, a service of songs would be held at her home in Lagos today by 5 pm and a lying in state will take place in Akure on Thursday, February 25, 2021. Her remains will be interred on Friday, February 26, 2021, in her hometown, Ijare, by 11 am.
